Help Needed for Ann Brady
Festivals
I plan to cover these. I will have a booth set up for me and as much as possible would like folks to hang at the booth so I can go out and walk the crowds. I would think 2 hours would be a good length of time to donate – pick your favorite festival and favorite times! Of course I can use help setting up and tearing down at each festival; I will be showing up about 30 minutes before the times posted below. Anyone planning to help may ask for a shirt! The more shirts showing up, the better!
September 14 – 15: Riverfest (Eden)
Friday from 5 to 10
Saturday from 10 to 10 but I will need to leave by 3 at the latest – have a night engagement. I really would like help from 3 to 5 or so to keep booth open and then tear it down.
September 22: Madison Bicentennial
Saturday from 10 to 8
September 29: Stoneville Festival
Saturday only, but no information is posted yet.
October 13: Mayodan Fair
Saturday only. I will NOT be able to attend this fair. I will therefore not purchase a booth here. I would be delighted if anyone wants to wear a t-shirt and work out of the Democratic booth to distribute information about me.
October 20: Reidsville Jubilee
Saturday from 10 to 9
Polls
Given a choice, I’d rather have help at festivals than at polls; most voters are already decided by the time they show up to vote. We can change more minds at festivals! But help anywhere is needed!
Early Voting: Three early voting plans have been submitted to the State Board of Elections. Until they determine which plan will be adopted, we are unclear about weekends and about the number of remote sites that will be open. Polls will be open on weekdays from 7 to 7. What is certain is that early voting will occur on every weekday starting October 17 and continue through November 2 and on Sat Nov 3 at least from 8 to 1. At this point let me know if you want to work early polls, how much, and your poll preference (location).
Election Day: We need to cover as many polls as possible. All voting sites of course will be open, and the polls will be open from 6:30am to 7:30pm.
Other
Go to all local concerts, events, etc. and wear ABC shirts or stickers. Take cards to hand out. Share on social media. Spread the word that I am running and want to serve our county as commissioner! Let me know of events you are covering, please.

Starting September 17, signs can be place in public access locations. We need to get signs out! Before that, help find yards that will take signs on (or after) September 4.
