If you might vote by mail, it’s important that you request your ballot now (if you haven’t already!) You can request your by-mail ballot online here: https://votebymail.ncsbe.gov/app/home.
Alternatively you can pick up an absentee ballot request form from the Rockingham County Board of Elections at 240 Cherokee Camp Road, Reidsville, NC 27320 (located behind the Governmental Center in Wentworth, next to the Animal Shelter).

(located behind the Governmental Center in Wentworth, next to the Animal Shelter).
Once early voting begins on October 15 you may return it to an early voting site (see below for early voting information). Your witness must still complete the section in #2.
4. Once you’ve requested your ballot, you can track its progress and confirm that it was received and accepted by using this new ballot tracking tool: https://northcarolina.ballottrax.net/voter/
5. Remember, even if you’ve requested and received your ballot by mail, you are still able to change your mind and vote in person. If you do this, please place your received ballot into the envelope and write “SPOILED” on it and turn it in when you vote. The Board of Elections is responsible for every ballot and this action makes their process easier.
Early (one-stop) voting information for Rockingham County

Basically the board of elections site is open 8:00 – 5:00 on all weekdays from October 15 until Friday October 30 inclusive and then also on Saturday October 31 from 8:00 – 3:00.
The three remote sites include:

Polls will be open from 6:30am to 7:30pm. There are 15 polling places in Rockingham County; you must vote at your polling place on this day. To find your polling place, go to: https://vt.ncsbe.gov/RegLkup/

- You can also register on-line at the DMV website or at any DMV office.
- You will need to return it by mail (mailing address for the Rockingham County Board of Elections is P.O. Box 22 - Wentworth, NC 27375) or in person to the Rockingham County Board of Elections at 240 Cherokee Camp Road, Reidsville, NC 27320. Your registration form must be received by October 9 to count for this election.

- A NC driver’s license;
- Any other government photo ID;

- Bank statement or payroll stub; or
- A document from any government agency (a bill, permit, letter, etc.)
